About

Welcome to the Cultural Cwtsh, a website of creative resources to support the wellbeing of health and social care workers in Wales.

The Arts Council of Wales has been working closely with arts partners, the Welsh NHS Confederation, the Health Boards across Wales and Social Care Wales to support the wellbeing of our healthcare workforce through creative activities as we look to recover from the pandemic.

Usually our Arts & Health work focuses on patients but we know that the healing and life-enhancing power of the arts can be equally valuable for our carers.  The Cultural Cwtsh is a suite of fun and stimulating online resources made by artists to support for the healthcare workforce in Wales as they look to recover from the intense pressures of working throughout a pandemic.

This website forms offers an alternative, additional approach to supporting wellbeing and complements the wider package of resources that HEIW (Health Education Improvement Wales) is developing to support our frontline healthcare staff.
