Celebrate your creative self!

Having worked with various groups associated with the NHS and in social care settings, I fully appreciate how little stress free relaxation time is available.

I'm hoping that in interacting the the Cultural Cwtsh videos, NHS workers will give themselves permission to actively engage with their wellbeing, zone out the current pressures of the world, and just enjoy!

My contributions I hope will make you smile, raise your confidence, and help you to celebrate your creative self!

The African drumming film celebrates the rhythm in all of us, and demonstrates how you don't have to have a drum to be able to start drumming.

The improvisation film celebrates the musician in all of us - from rhythm to melody, harmony and song, making things up as we go through life and expressing how we are feeling can be beneficial.

My final film demonstrates that creativity doesn't have to be confined to specific settings, to rooms and buildings.

As well as the mindfulness benefits in taking a walk, there is amazing inspiration to be found in the natural world.

Whether a stormy beach, a sunny hill top, or a quiet woodland, in interacting with the natural world we can create music, song, and express how we are feeling.

The world is increasingly full on, and tuning out to tune into ourselves can be really challenging. I'm hoping that if you can make time to watch one of the videos, it may bring about a small shift in attitude to the when where and how of musical creativity.
