Even small activities can bring about some space in the day.

Florence Boyd works with mixed media as an illustrator and painter. Her artwork revolves around ideas of inside and outside, the imaginary worlds we create and explore, and how these can shape our day to day lives.

Johanna Hartwig is an artist with experience in videography, who specialises in working in public spaces, and non art environments. She has an MA in Interactive Journalism. Johanna also is prolific in running Forest School and outside creative workshops.

Kim Appleby is a graphic artist with extensive experience in design work and editing. She also works at Spit & Sawdust, a community space in Cardiff that houses a skate park, café, art space and studios.

Over the last two years I have benefited hugely from being outside in my local area.

We don't need to travel far to get a moment of calm from our surroundings. Even small activities can bring about some space in the day.

When time is short and we feel pressured it can seem impossible to set aside space for ourselves.

Myself, Kim and Johana have loved making this series of short creative workshops which invite you to engage with some time ‘in-between things’.

The activities are deliberately simple, because sometimes good things are.

We hope you enjoy watching them and trying some of them out.

Thank you
