In Japanese culture, ‘Tsuru’ means ‘crane’, which represents hope and healing in difficult times.

This simple activity will give you 10 minutes of mindfulness, relaxation, and distraction through origami by making a paper crane (bird).

It’s a very simple activity that requires a single sheet of paper, and so will not cost anyone anything to make.

It can be done anywhere and with anyone, so if family and friends want to get involved too, they can!

Keep practising it get easier, and that’s when the real magic happens. Ten minutes folding, creating and being in the moment.
